Workshop terms
These terms take effect when you accept them on the order review, before you pay or request an invoice, and correspond to the terms version recorded against your order. If we update these terms before your workshop date, we will tell you and record the new version against your order.
Seller identity
The legal entity that contracts with you for this workshop is Otinga SA (Pty) Ltd, company registration number 2023/256242/07, email hello@otinga.io, website https://otinga.io. These seller details are also shown on your order review before you pay, and repeated in your booking confirmation.
We are VAT registered, VAT number 4200320929, and VAT is charged at the rate in force at the time of your booking.
The service and the date
This workshop runs as one full working day, in person, in Johannesburg. Two cohorts are open: 18 November 2026 and 24 November 2026, each limited to 15 businesses. You choose one date when you book. The venue, address, start time and end time for each date are shown when you choose a date and again on your order review before you pay, and we repeat them in your booking confirmation.
Investment
The investment for your business covers both of your business's two seats. We show the amount on the investment screen and again on your order review before you pay. You are welcome to talk it through with Francois on a 30-minute call first, with no obligation. We issue a VAT-compliant tax invoice for your order, whether you pay by card or by EFT.
Payment
You pay the full investment in one payment when you book. There is no deposit and no balance to pay later. You choose how to pay on your order review: by card, or by EFT against a tax invoice.
If you pay by card, you pay through Yoco's hosted checkout. Your card details are handled directly by Yoco and never touch Otinga's own systems. We hold your seats for 30 minutes from the moment you reach your order review, to give you time to finish paying. If the payment is not completed in that time, the hold lapses and the seats are released.
If you pay by EFT, you request a tax invoice on your order review and we send it to you. We hold your seats for 7 days from your request while the transfer clears. We confirm your booking once we have received the payment, and then send you a confirmation email. If we have not received payment when the 7 days end, the hold lapses and the seats are released.
If a payment reaches us after a hold has lapsed, we confirm your seats if they are still available, and otherwise refund the payment in full. We use the legal name, billing address and VAT number (if you have one) that you give on your order review to issue your tax invoice. See "Refund policy" below for what happens if you need to cancel or change your booking.
Cancellation policy
You pay the investment in full when you book, so the rules in "Refund policy" below apply to the full amount you have paid.
You can withdraw your order at no charge at any time before you pay or request an invoice, using Cancel order on your order review.
To cancel or change a booking after you have paid, email hello@otinga.io with your order details. That email counts as written notice.
Refund policy
- No refund is due once your payment is received, including if you cancel. Instead, at any time before your workshop day, your business can move its 2 seats to a different workshop date, at no charge, if seats are available there.
- At any time before your workshop day, your business can send two different people in place of the two originally booked, at no charge.
- If Otinga cancels the workshop, or moves its date, you choose either a full refund of everything you have paid or a move to the new date at no charge.
- Where a refund is due under this policy, we pay it back to the original payment method (for an EFT payment, the bank account it came from) within 10 business days and issue a credit note for it.
Guarantee
The Leave-With-It Guarantee: if you leave without your Map, Top 3 and AI Policy finished, I'll finish them with you in a private 90-minute session, free. This is available to attendees who complete the workshop, and covers finishing the Map, Top 3 and AI Policy only; no cash alternative is offered, and it does not promise a specific business outcome.
Dispute resolution
If a dispute arises from your booking, contact us first at the email address in your booking confirmation so we can try to resolve it directly. No ombud, industry body or self-regulatory code applies to this service.
Record of the transaction
You can access and keep a record of this transaction through the confirmation email we send after payment and the tax invoice issued for your order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
